The hot needle technique is a popular form of treatment from TCM that combines acupuncture with moxibustion. In addition to the stimulation provided by the needle, moxibustion produces a soothing warmth on the acupuncture point.
Application:
The moxa caps can simply be placed on the end of the acupuncture needle during treatment.
With their gentle warmth, they provide stronger and deeper stimulation of the acupuncture point.

A cone-shaped moxa produces very gentle and long-lasting heat for moxibustion.
Moxa charcoal is produced using a unique baking technique that prevents the smoke, ash and odours associated with traditional moxa.
The cone is coated with a special compound of bio-clay, jade, germanium and bio-ceramic to enhance this effect.
It takes about 5 minutes to reach the effective temperature.
Each cone burns for about 20 to 25 minutes. The residual heat is still strong after burning down.
Use together with the DB253 DONBANG moxa heater is highly recommended.
