AcuMax Med AG is an owner-managed Swiss family business based in Bad Zurzach. We combine therapeutic and medical supplies, modern medical technology and training and further education for healthcare professionals. At the same time, we connect people who are interested in health.
As owners and managing directors, Manuel and Kevin Welti, together with a team of 22 staff members, represent AcuMax.
We support healthcare professionals in their day-to-day work and take a forward-thinking approach to health: we stock high-quality products, provide practical knowledge and encourage personal exchange. In doing so, we combine a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit with Swiss values such as quality, reliability and responsibility.

Eliane and Werner Welti are part of the history from which AcuMax has grown. Werner Welti founded AcuMax in 2010, thereby laying the foundations for the family business.

Discover more than 30 treatment tables, beauty chairs and spa and wellness loungers. Compare and try out equipment for electrotherapy, ultrasound therapy, laser therapy and shockwave therapy, as well as hypoxia training, in-store. Our specialist advisers will take the time to answer your questions and help you make the right choice.

Through our training and continuing professional development programmes, we provide physiotherapists, doctors and specialists with valuable practical knowledge. Since 2011, we have been offering courses, specialist events, seminars, webinars and multi-day training programmes in the fields of therapy, medicine, health, exercise and sport.
Expert lecturers, fresh ideas and personal interaction make further education a genuine next step.
Werner Welti founded AcuMax with a small range of acupuncture supplies. Today, his sons are the second generation to run the family business.

Commencement of operations
First customer orders comprising around 300 items for acupuncture supplies.
2013
First Kinesio Tape Basic Course
The first course will take place at the Quellen Höfli in Bad Zurzach.
2015
The product range is expanding
Over 1,000 items and new sections for physiotherapy and massage.
2016
Moving into the Neuhus Business Park Bad Zurzach
Treatment tables and equipment for physiotherapy round out the range of services. The programme comprises over 70 courses.
2018
Expansion of medical supplies
We also stock wheelchairs, walking frames, mobility aids for the elderly and everyday assistive devices.
2019
Over 250 courses on offer
The range of continuing professional development courses is expanding and bringing together an ever-growing number of professionals.

Webinars and 7,000 articles
The first webinars begin. The product range expands to over 7,000 items.

Planning for the next major phase of development is getting underway.

First dissection course with Prof. Dr Robert Schleip
In collaboration with the Anatomical Institute of Basel, we are offering a unique insight into human anatomy.

LIMA and new logistics centre
Acquisition of LIMA Praxisbedarf AG and construction of the new logistics centre with state-of-the-art Logimaten systems.
2027
Planned move-in date
Occupancy of the new logistics centre is planned for 2027.
