The masticatory muscles (masseter muscle, temporalis muscle, medial pterygoid muscle and lateral pterygoid muscle) are represented in the form of elastic bands. With this model you can demonstrate the function of the masticatory muscles with jaw closure, the initiation of jaw opening and the displacement of the lower jaw to the side and from the front. The skullcap is removable, the lower jaw is movable.
