Tradition meets technology - Thermotrigger

The purpose of the new hand-held device is to warm or cool the surface of the skin of humans or animals, both in a contrast programme is also possible. Thermotrigger combines the methods of warming and cooling that have been practised for centuries, such as the hot-water bottle or cooling with ice. The device works electrically and is mobile because it is powered by a portable battery (power bank).

The Thermo Trigger can be used in different ways. On the one hand, it can be moved back and forth on the skin by hand or attached to the body using the elasticated strap with Velcro fastener. It is also possible to attach the trigger using the fastening clip. This trigger can be used on trigger points and hard-to-reach areas of the body, e.g. under the ankle or for deep muscle treatment by applying light pressure.

Thermotrigger offers four programmes in different temperature ranges:

  • Mix approx. 10-43°C (10min contrast therapy: 30 sec heating / 45 sec cooling), e.g. for swollen injuries, the change in temperature can optimally stimulate the tissue
  • Cold approx. 3-4°C (5min)
  • Warm 40-43°C (10min)
  • Cold approx. 10°C (5min)
