Element Earth. The stomach meridian and the spleen-pancreas meridian
The charts show the superficial and deep course of the 12 organ meridians in relation to the most important underlying bones and muscles. Two meridians belonging to each element are shown on one panel. As four meridians are assigned to the fire element, they are shown on two panels.
Achim Eckert, MD, has spent ten years testing the localisation and psychosomatic effects of the 361 classic points with test subjects who were not biased by specialist knowledge and found the traditional Chinese localisations authorised by Beijing to be confirmed. The meridians and their points are described and illustrated in his work DAS TAO DER AKUPRESSUR UND AKUPUNKTUR (Medizinverlage Stuttgart, 4th edition 2009, order number at Bacopa 72188).
The meridian drawings on this plate were designed according to the basic character of the element types. They have been compiled here into six wall charts for practitioners and enthusiasts.
