The topic of vegan nutrition has become increasingly popular in recent years. However, experts have yet to agree on the extent to which a vegan diet can have a positive impact on athletes. This book explains the benefits of a vegan diet and how it affects the body in an understandable way. It also discusses the effects of a plant-based diet in sport and rehabilitation. This book establishes a link between sports physiotherapy and nutrition and thus bundles the specialist knowledge.
