Combination system consisting of therapeutic laser with three individually controllable wavelengths and cryo-thermal module
The qmd® helios cryo-thermal is a complete system consisting of the qmd® helios therapeutic laser and the qmd® cryo-thermal module. The therapy system is supplied with a therapy trolley, an electronic foot switch, two spacers (S and M) and two pairs of protective goggles. The device has USB ports that allow remote support and software updates.
Therapeutic laser qmd® helios
The qmd® helios laser device model is a therapeutic laser device with three individually individually controllable wavelengths of 808, 1064 and 1120nm at 24W. The three individually controllable wavelengths allow a choice between continuous, pulsed or super-pulsed delivery modality, as well as the exclusive frequency modulation qmd® harmonic pulsation. The 1120n wavelength has a particular effect on seratonin, dopanin (neurotransmitter of pain) and substance P (muscles).
Pain can therefore be treated with the qmd® helios laser device with a triple effect. For example, a super-pulsed rice is emitted for pain-relieving treatment, at the same time a second wavelength emits a stimulation pulse with the target frequency of the main molecule/mediator involved and the third wavelength emits a frequency modulation to additionally hit all mediators and slightly involved molecules.
The laser device has a 10.1" colour touch screen and intuitive software with simple, user-friendly operation. The qmd® helios laser offers the choice between different therapy programmes by effect, by treatment zone or by individual modality.
Areas of application for laser therapy:
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Neck pain
- Joint pain
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Lumbalgia
- Osteoarthritis
- osteoarthritis
- Inflammation of tendons and ligaments
Cryotherapy module qmd® cryo-thermal
With the complete therapy system it is possible to produce a cold effect (hypothermia from -15 °C to +15 °C), a heat effect (hyperthermia from +30 °C to +45 °C), a thermal shock (the temperature drops by at least 30 °C in a short time) and the exclusive contrast therapy® (alternating delivery of cold and heat). The contrast therapy® is a special form of physical therapy in which cold and heat are delivered alternately. This form of therapy with the qmd® cryo-thermal device is particularly suitable for treating oedema, pain, muscle contractures, inflammation of the tendons, aponeurosis and periosteum.
The cryotherapy is a form of physical therapy with the targeted use of cold. Cryotherapy is particularly suitable for the treatment of acute trauma, the after-effects of trauma, bursitis, arthrosynovitis, tendinitis and inflammatory arthropathies.
The thermotherapy is a physical therapy with the targeted application of heat. Thermotherapy increases blood flow, promotes the elimination of metabolic by-products, increases oxygen supply, accelerates biochemical reactions in the body and has a pain-relieving and myorelaxing effect.
With the thermoshock the skin temperature is cooled by 30°C in just 45 seconds. This form of treatment generates a neuroreflective cold stimulus and is suitable for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, muscular problems, acute injuries and post-operative therapy.
Treatment areas:
- Joint pain
- Tendosynovitis
- Spinal syndrome with muscle contractures
- Spasms caused by torn muscle fibres
- rheumatoid arthritis
- muscular problems
- acute injuries
- postoperative therapy
- acute trauma
- after-effects of trauma
- bursitis, arthrosynovitis
- tendinitis
- inflammatory arthropathies
